After high school, I attended the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler” in Berlin for a five-year program to study singing. While still a student, I made my debut at the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin as Philippe in "the Devils of Loudun” by K.Penderecki, after that more guest engagements in Berlin followed.
1983 I was engaged at the Mecklenburg State Theatre of Schwerin as a coloratura soprano, where I still belong. Many concert engagements in the field of Opera and operetta led me to different cities in Germany , like e.g. Palast der Republik Berlin, Kulturpalast Dresden, Stadthallen von Chemnitz , Cottbus, Görlitz , Osnabrück. I was also hired to perform on tv entertainment programmes. Opera performances led me a.o. at the theater of Mainz , Braunschweig , Kiel, Lübeck, Münster. Since 1998 I regularly play on cruise ships of the Deilmann Group (MS Berlin) (MS Deutschland ) and for Hansa Kreuzfahrten (MS Delphin ).
